Eric Schein

 

Eric started working in the heating and air industry in 2000, after college. He received his certification for HVACr at NWACC. He owned a profitable heating and air company for 6 years and sold the company in 2016. Eric was the director of HVACr at NWTI in Springdale for 6 years. He successfully consulted with several residential HVACr companies such as Armor Heating and Air and Superior Air Solutions.. He now resides as the Service Manager for HVACr and Plumbing at American AC & Mechanical.

Job Outlook for HVAC Profession

Employment of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers is projected to grow 6 percent from 2022 to 2032, faster than the average for all occupations.  About 37,700 openings for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.

 

What You Will Learn

All of the training programs are designed to teach incoming students a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of the HVACr, trade both in concept and with hands -on practical skills.  Instruction consists of 1 hour of classroom lecture, followed by 2 hours of hands-on application. Classes are 66 % hands on.
